Simple Joys

Hi!

After some warm-weathered weeks a cold spell has hit Alabama.

One day you’re tillin’ up the garden getting read to plant, the next it’s snowing. (Literally!)

Before my winter blues creep back in, here are some things bringing me joy recently.

• Coffee on the front porch

• Seeds Sprouting

• New Overalls (my biggest farm-girl vice)

• Talking on the phone to my Mama

• Discovering a new antique store

• Baby Goats!

• Making Art (I’m OBSESSED with Oil Pastels!)

• Buying a Coke & a can of night-crawlers at the gas station (just me?)

• Cooking from scratch (bread, pickled eggs, fire cider, whipped cream, and fresh cheese have each made their appearance in my kitchen this week)

• A book that’s good within the first two chapters

• The perfect shade of butter yellow

• Packing orders - my favorite part!

• A good dog hanging her head out the window
